Thanksgiving & Smoldering Dish Towels

This episode we're talking turkey (and tofurkey) while sipping on a genius cocktail concoction that puts your leftover cranberry sauce to work…

Spicy Cranberry Sauce Fizz
makes one cocktail

  • 2.5 oz. gin
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (we used Trader Joe's Jalapeno Cranberry Sauce)
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz each lemon and lime juice
  • 1/4 – 1/4 oz. orange juice, depending on taste
  • club soda
  • garnish: lime slice

Combine ingredients except for club soda and lime slice into a shaker with ice and shake until frosty, strain into a glass, top with club soda and garnish with lime slice. For mocktail version, omit gin and add extra oj or club soda depending on taste.

(This particular cranberry sauce would also be great over goat cheese with crackers as an appetizer.)
