Our Birthday, Christmas & Dancing Fondue Guy

It’s one big week of festivity because we share a birthday on December 22nd! It’s a Christmas/Birthday extravaganza all wrapped into one episode and we’re gifting it to you!

Wooly Mitten
makes one drink

  • 2 T Cocoa Powder
  • 1 1/2 T sugar
  • salt
  • vanilla
  • generous handful of chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps or creme de menthe (or omit for a mocktail…aka regular mug of hot chocolate 🙂 )

We chat about what it was like having a Christmastime birthday growing up, how to keep December birthdays seperate from the holidays, and how we’re celebrating this year.

We’re also talking Christmas traditions, what we’re doing for the holidays, and sharing our favorite Christmas movies and music!

In current obsessions, this cabinet double trash bin is making Erica gallop around her kitchen. Kelsey is rediscovering her love for jigsaw puzzles while she awaits the arrival of her new baby!

In neighborhood news, the corner bakery is officially opening, and we’re ridiculously excited about it! We also have some potential pie shop news, and this happened…

DancingfondueNo to fondue, and no to you, sir.

  1. Did I mention that my husband and I share a birthday as well? I feel like I need to make this hot chocolate right now! Yum.

  5. I’m super late to the game here. But this is for Erica. In our town they showed White Christmas in a movie theater this year. My sister and I went. I told her we needed to get there early because it was a one night only showing so it would be crowded. Yeah I showed up 35 minutes early and only 8 people came in total. But anyway, it was FANTASTIC. I got so much more out of it on the big screen; it was so great. I cried and I’ve never cried at that movie before. Also did you relate to Betty or Judy more? I always thought of myself as a Betty and my younger sister though of herself as Judy. I love it so much!
